While staring into the fire-which we’ve learned is NOT her strong suit-she agrees to give it a shot. After retaking Castle Black with the help of Tormund (and the gang!), Davos asks Melisandre if she knows a way to bring Jon Snow back to life. Of course, at this point, most people assumed he would be resurrected, but it also seemed to go against every bloodthirsty instinct this series has been built upon. Is Jon Snow dead? Is he alive? Is he the most handsome zombie we’ve ever seen? Would a zombie Jon Snow have a different personality than regular Jon Snow? NO ONE KNOWS. And sure, that scene was fun and cool (and naked), but this is the episode we’ve all been waiting for. Last week’s season premiere of Game of Thrones ended on a pretty good cliffhanger: We learned that Melisandre’s necklace acts as a very powerful Instagram filter IRL. ![]()
